About Me
Hi! My name is Alicia, but most people call me Tiss. I am a writer, student, journalist, and now, a blogger!
Towards the end of 2014 I Big Chopped, though I didn't realise at the time that what I was doing had a name. Check out my natural journey here.
Since that day, I found the online natural hair community, and it has helped me in a million and one ways. I gained a new area of knowledge, new-found confidence, and through my natural hair I have met (and cyber-stalked; don't judge me!) so many wonderful new people.
That's why I decided to start this, my own blog, to contribute to the wealth of knowledge being shared online. I want to encourage people, to inform people, and to share my own methods, errors, and successes. This blog will therefore focus on natural hair. But that's not all it will do. I also want to use this space to develop my interests in make-up, beauty and style; to exhibit my poetry; sometimes to sound off on current events (I have a lot of opinions... like.. a lot); and natter on about whatever takes my fancy. I'm one of those people who has a lot to say but would rather write it all down than say it out-loud.. so, rather than welcoming you to 'my world', I'd like to welcome you inside my weird little mind.
